NCAA Division III = 399 (however D3 schools don't offer athletic scholarships)

NAIA = 192

Total schools offering a softball scholarship = 763
(and you are encouraged to create a list of 50 and market yourself to them! I would have a list of 763!!)

NCAA Division I = 12 (3504 total)

NCAA Division II = 7.2 (2008 total)

NCAA Division III = 0 (0 total)

NAIA = 10 (1920 total)

Total possible (full) scholarships available = 7432

All trying each year to get a piece of 7500 possible opportunities… That's it folks! What are the odds of you getting that scholarship? The hard truth is as of today 3.4%!!
